Yk back in the day we used to remember all the phone numbers we needed ...family, friends, our loved ones even random people. It was just a part of life. Now we don’t actually memorize most numbers anymore. And that’s kinda wild. Like imagine you’re in some random place, your phone dies, and you don’t have internet. What are go gonna do? You don’t know the numbers, you only know their names because that’s all you need to type, and tech does the rest.We lose certain skills we don’t even realize. It sounds simple, but also scary. Technology makes life easier no cap. But maybe sometimes, it makes us a little lazy without us even noticing.
Then again when you watch a YouTube video, podcast, or listen to someone talk about something important, you get all the info. But do you really have your own take? Can you see things differently? Or do you just agree because it’s easier?
I guess the real flex isn’t just remembering numbers or facts… it’s about owning your thoughts. Being able to think for yourself, not just replay what you hear or what other thinks. And that feels way more powerful. Because growth comes when we choose to keep using our brain, even if there are easier shortcuts. My love for tech is unconditional, but I just don't wanna to be controlled by it. I just want to think freely, because this is what humans are supposed to do.
