You did. In 2012, you hosted a film camp and made a short horror film called curse of the bog zombie. I was the main bully in that film. Then, 2 years ago you were filming a group of campers being outfitted by algonquin outfitters. That is when I asked for your YouTube page and subscribed. Now I live in Alberta filming events, commercials, and real-estate. Slowly creeping my way into more story based film. Almost there! Thanks for inspiring 🙏

The different ways people use it to project their vision into reality

What got you into filmmaking?
Chances are it was to make the movies you grew up watching.
For me, it was the Matrix. No not the original groundbreaking matrix, it was Matrix Revolutions - the worst one of the trilogy… at the time.
I watched the behind the scenes, and final fight scene over and over until my grandmother threatened she was going to burn the DVD.
But over time, my dream of becoming a film director got flushed away with the reality of making this a business. Starving artist syndrome, paired with all the gatekeepers stoped me from dreaming big.
A year ago all that changed. I stopped
Waiting for Hollywood to knock on my
Door and started making movies with what ever I had, and who ever wanted to collaborate. Sometimes that was alone, and other times that was with a full crew.
In 365 days I’ve made a feature film, a Batman movie, a 4 part sci-fi web series, a documentary, 5 short films, and a movie shot on my own that gained over 250K views.
I’ve learned there’s no luck in this success, but there are formulas.
In my course the 4 week filmmaker I’m sharing everything I’ve gained from the last 365 days of filmmaking, paired with a decade of being a professional filmmaker into bite sized formulas.
Filmmaking isn’t easy, but it also doesn’t have to be complicated.
The doors to enroll in my course close Friday June 14th. Hit me up if you wanna learn more.
