During all my years doing Eurovision videos here on YouTube, I always tried to rank songs and artists only based on personal taste and to not let my opinion about a certain country, nor politics influence my videos. I see Eurovision as a big party where we all come together to celebrate and where we can put our differences aside.
It's painful to see how our beloved contest has evolved to a political event where music and talent are no longer central. I can't stand behind the decision made by the EBU to include Israel this year. Not only does Israel uses the contest for political purposes, the Israeli participation puts every artist, fan, co-worker, citizen, ... in Malmö in danger and it undermines everything Eurovision stands for.
Therefor I decided to not include Israel in my upcoming videos. I hope you all respect my personal opinion and decision.
