I am relieved you are not in any of the border regions near Myanmar or Cambodia or Laos. I donʼt think any of them are safe, I would just stay in the capital or other areas known to be safe, according to the locals. Thailand is probably kind of like Mexico that way, the locals in Mexico told me which parts of the country to avoid because they are unsafe and which parts are safe to go to, when I was there, certain provinces like Chiapas or northern provinces near the United States border or this province near Mexico City full of lawless “bandidos”. Just like how in the United States I warn people to avoid places like Florida where... It is Florida, enough said. I bet Thailand is also like that in some areas, be careful.
