We now need the trade paperback, Pocklington guide to the panzerschliff , because pocklingtons pocket guide to pocket battleships is the perfect book descriptor

@MatthewChenault

You have the best last name I’ve ever seen.

@thehandofdeath2106

If you ever write a Star Trek novel, you need but a single letter for the alias, Mr Alexander Spocklington.

The only thing missing from that thoroughly impressive name is a generational designation, like "the third". Throw in an "esquire" or even better "professor" and you'll be able to intimidate anyone by merely introducing yourself. Oh, and the book looks great. 👍

And thus, Grand Admiral Pocklington, 1st Duke of Drachninfel, sails into history...

My overdue visit to HMS Belfast was in January 2024, and was a Christmas gift from my wife. We went to see her together however my wife had the unfortunate oversight to wear a knee skirt so I had to always climb the ladders behind, as to not reveal her bum to the cohorts of kids going around 😂. A fantastic visit (my first time onboard a warship), with a mug and book as mementos. Can't wait for your book to come out and hoping for a signed edition as well

I just pre-ordered my copy! Looking forward to reading it and going through it with my kids. My son is on a British kick, so perfect timing.

Ohh shit, well now I gotta buy a copy! Looking forward to reading it Drach. You really are, no doubt, the hardest working man on YouTube….

@chrislyne377

Echoing another comment, I'd absolutely buy a Pocklington's Pocket Guide series of books like 'Battleships of WW2' or 'Destroyers of the Inter-war Years' with a summary chapter and then broken down by country with your 5 minute guides written down for each ship.

@HMSConqueror

Congratulations!! Hope to see more in the future, maybe about Fleets as well? I found few books about the BPF, or certain classes of UK bbs (Like the G3/N3 Classes, the lost Generation by A. Clarke) or maybe a colab with the Doc Clarke? Cheers

@pokemadness32108

I’ll definitely need to get this, as I haven’t read up on Belfast that much, and I love your videos so it should be a great read

@dimitrikemitsky

I might be a moron but I was confused why you called it your book, like it was going to have "Drach" as the author. "Who is this Alexander dude?"
