WATCH NOW: https://youtu.be/Nlj6NsLlhNc

He's one of Britain's most successful industrialists and part-owner of Manchester United. Sir Jim Ratcliffe - regularly found near the top of the Sunday Times rich list with an estimated wealth of over Β£17bn - is the founder and CEO of the chemicals giant INEOS. So what's the future for his business? Why does he think Net Zero is a disaster? And how will he make Man United 'the most profitable club in the world'?

In the first episode of The Business, Associate Business Editor of The Sunday Times Hannah Prevett and Times columnist and Times Radio business presenter, Dominic O'Connell chew over it all.

Ratcliffe, the man that backed brexit, then decided to build his land rover defender replacement in France using BMW engine πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ These guys are betting your futures, if they don't get what they want they'll ditch you pretty quickly and flip to the other side!!

Not surprising that Ratcliffe supports reform. A tax exile casino capitalist that likes us all to think he's an innovator and entrepreneur.

@gimbin86

Man who backed Farage over Brexit, now backs Farage over...what? Tax cuts, reducing services, and UK DOGE (great success in Kent that still led to tax rises). Ratcliffe is a disaster capitalist. He knows a Farage government would lead to a huge stock market slide (see Truss example), and economic ruin for the middle and lower classes. Who profits in these times? The billionaires with their offshore wealth, mopping up the valueless stocks whilst us poor folk lose our pensions. To anyone thinking that Reform are the answer,just ask yourselves this -If Farage represents the working man, why do so many billionaires back him?

Net zero is a con, not a disaster. The sun is the only thing that can make the planet hot. And to all the idiots out there: our sun is a star. It started with a bang, and over billions of years it will implode on itself. So revving your V8 will have no impact on our planet, global warming is a money maker. This planet is older than anyone knows. Please don’t fall for the money making scheme wherever in the world you live. Please do your research into ice ages and how many we’ve had how long it takes to recover. It’s all about the β˜€οΈ. Our star. Our giver of life and the only thing that can heat us up or cool us down. Peace out and do your research into
