Anyone else feel a bit like the Mad Joker these days? The world we live in, the fu£&ing audacity of certain human behaviors. I feel rage. I feel anger, but I won’t choose hate, and I won’t take sides. ll I’ll laugh instead, in madness, at the ridiculous amount of sh£& we don’t stand up for or speak out loud.
It’s time to say the things you’ve been silent about for too long. Now is not the time to numb out, to disociate, to distract, to run away from truths you feel to afraid to face.
Stand up, look around, take inventory, we’ve become the walking dead. Step back into your body, lengthen your spine, open your voice and fu&@ing scream. It’s time to wake up.
You don’t have to fix the whole world, no one can, but you can pick ONE thing that matters to you, that would make life better for you as well as everyone else, and master that ONE thing. Step by step.
The path we are walking isn’t easy, and I have no idea where it is that we are going, but I do know we’re all going to have to be much more present, much more aware, and much more courageous than we are now.
Let’s get to work, the garden needs to be dug and the weeds need to be plucked.
