The logic of sense would be great!! Deleuze's thought is definitely one that needs guidance to get through

I would also be interested in reading Beckett, as I have heard great things, but have read none of his works yet

Logic of sense - I'm trying my best to take Deleuze's inversion of psychoanalysis seriously - D&G are meticulous in their deterritorialisation, but the difficulty I face is that what they build stops making sense. I end up suspecting a language game designed to undermine that appears to lack purpose, except for in its own alterity. Yet I cannot say this definitively. It's like differential calculus in tending towards a limit to yield knowledge about how change itself functions. Like a philosophical derivative. I don't know if I'm too late, but will definitely be looking at your prior work on Deleuze!

The Logic of Sense, even though all the options look fantastic

How to do things with words immediately piques my interest, though I don’t think I’d be disappointed with any of these options

Beckett's trilogy is my favourite book series ever ! L'innommable is particularly good for keeping panic attacks at bay I've noticed, it has this monotone and calming quality that's incredibly rare to find in any piece of media Also the part in molloy where the protag sucks stone genuinely makes me laugh each time I read it

Gavin Young Philosophy
Last summer we did a reading group on Martin Heidegger’s “Being and Time” (selections). I’m thinking of doing another reading group this summer. Does one of these books pique your curiosity? If so, comment below so I can get a general sense of interest and proportions. If there’s enough interest, we will do weekly zoom meetings studying one of these books in depth, to completion. Suitable to all audiences, regardless of expertise, although anything helps. Meetings would likely be Saturday or Sunday at 2pm EST.
