Thanks for all the mixes you've made, HX! GT Sessions has gotten me through many long commutes and study nights. I hope the creation of Sessions 2 goes well, and that you don't burn yourself out. To be completely honest, I like your house mix the best out of the four! It flows so well and the selection is incredible. Looking forward to seeing what you have in store!

Thanks so much for everything you've given so far, that GT mix has accompanied me through a lot of drawing sessions. Anticipating to hear what you have in store, but no rush :)

Incredible set on GT sessions, very inspiring and atmospheric. Instant classic. Don't rush it for vol 2, when it's time, it's time. I just took a 1 month hiatus and it felt good. Cheers bro.

Hey players. Some brief updates about the general future.
First, I wanted to give you my deepest thanks for listening to GT Sessions. What felt like an almost futile effort in my mind turned into something that people enjoy and revisit. Sometimes you push through and it works out. I’d change a few things about it, but I’m glad it resonated with many of you.
The status of GT Sessions 2 is a light confirm. In the past year I’ve sifted through a tiring amount of music to create a sequel, but I’m not going to force this number if it ends up not meeting the vision. Chipping away at this slowly as the year goes on to avoid listener’s fatigue. Again, this is not primarily a Japanese Jazz mix, so the process of finding “VGM-adjacent lounge instrumental” is not a clear path. But I will do my best!
Keeping it real, I’m not too happy with my set in the house collaboration. Didn’t have enough time to let it sit. However, this project was worth giving back and supporting the people that inspired me when I knew much less about the genre.
The main focus right now is creating a website, merch, and developing a strong 3D visual foundation. This alongside work n' life will take time, as I’m attempting to create a long-term artstyle to represent Hierogliphix. Mixes will be sparse temporarily, but I have no intention of stopping. There’s a new mix series adjacent to GT Sessions in the planning stage, but not tied to any IP. More focused on the simple but soulful feelings of life.
Wishing you all a great one, and many thx for checking out my work. -HX
