even if Teddy was never a problem i feel like a considerable amount of people would've never played it either way, it was plagued with a bunch of other problems like the 1,000 experiences or whatever, and just the straight up quality of the event itself. the premise is also dumb too and don't even get me started on the AI eggs they were talking about personally i would've played the event as it would've been my first ever egg hunt despite the flaws but i think we all know why we shouldn't do that anymore, if the event is still even gonna happen.

Don’t know, feels like a devil and angel on each shoulder kind of situation deciding whether I want to play the event or not lol

its crazy how a single player ruined an entire event for thousands of other players

even without the the whole Teddy contversery I was already debating to skip the event entire as it sounds more like work than a “fun event”

keep in mind, this entire drama was caused because greenlegocats checked the servers list in the invitation game at the perfect time. if he didnt, none of this would of happened untill the hatch started.

Think about it this way: Most of the games (hopefully) that are actually good are made from people with good morals, even the ones that aren’t all great still can have creators who understand what’s right and what’s wrong. So as such, most of these developers are going to drop out of the event for the sake of keeping their name safe while also using that extra time to work on things they feel will help impact the game. So when most of those developers are gone from the hunt (2 weeks away btw for people to nope out), what are we left with? A bunch of developers simply in it for the clout and money, whether they know about the controversy or not. They simply just want their name to be on official Roblox material to fork in some sweet revenue from premium players. And with 2 weeks to work on this event, most are probably not even going to try to create something special and instead opt for something presentable enough for Roblox, which only ruins the experience for players even more. Even IF you ignore the controversy, with so many big and good games dropping out of the event, with there being possibly hundreds of them, it’s going to feel less like an experience and more like a chore with all the low effort games you have to endure. there is quite literally no reason to play this event other than to fully complete another event. But do you really want to be known as someone who fully completed an event with a pdp partially involved and 98% of the games being garbage? As someone who 100%’d the first edition hunt & The Mega Hunt, I surely don’t. Do what you want, but THIS is what you’re going to go through if you really do want to play the event. I will not be participating in it at all

even without the pedobear incident i'd probably just not play it because there'd be virtually no prizes worth the time to grab like the rest of the nu-events (the hunt and everything after it)

honestly, the whole teddy thing was the straw that broke the camels back. i mean, SOME people would’ve tried it out but since this whole teddy thing, i feel like anyone with social media will not be playing this once so ever.

I feel bad for the people that never experienced an Egg Hunt event, and this is how Roblox gives them one

i'll probably be avoiding it, but maybe snag an egg or two just incase they ever go limited like past egg hunts have

I’ll play it but if I freaking see “get groomed by a 40 year old man simulator” in there I will quit immediately

Oh yeah, just as a heads up: Just because teddy is out of the event doesn't mean you won't encounter any other game/dev similar, there was supposed to be 1000 games for the event, and none of them were screened, so if you do end up playing the event, exercise caution!

The fact egghunts returned in devhunt format is enough of a shame ngl. Yolktales (2018) will truthly remain the best egghunt we'll have ever had and ever will have.

After all that has happened with The Hatch/Egg Hunt 2025 so far... will you be playing it in any capacity?
