That sucks! Sort everything first and foremost. Don't worry about uploading any material you have, we will wait patiently.

Once your up and running get a surge protector for you router. It will protect from a power line spike and a spike on the incoming internet cable. A worthy investment if your business is reliant on being connected to the net. Also many have a free 4g SIM to keep you online if the external internet drops out for a period of time. If you march this with a UPS you could keep the internet and your pc (plus freezer), going if you had a full power outage.

Lucky it was the modem and not you guys that got hit. Stay safe and no stress. A nice guy like you dont lose your viewers that fast.

Yesterday, in my town, a tragedy occurred. A high school student killed 2 high school students and injured 3 others. With what you told me, that's at least one piece of good news đ. Is everything resolved at your place after the storm

The Eclectic Beard
We had a thunderstorm roll through last night and had a lightning strike close to the house. Lights went off, came right back on.. With the exception of my modem. I have a Hotspot on my phone to run things around the house but I have the issue of no wifi/Bluetooth driver on my pc. Its wired to the router (still working but useless atm). So for at least the next few days I have no way of putting out what I have recorded or even a way of editing to upload to YouTube.
