I would happily switch from my 11 to a competitor if functionalities are gatekeeped behind a paywall. Instead of competing to come up with and keep up with competitors, gopro is fking nickel and diming the last remnants of their customer base. Signs of a dying company running out of ideas if you ask me

Well this certainly made up my mind between the GoPro and the DJI…

Not if it is like ReelSteady and limited you to very few specific setting on the camera. Not Being able to use the hyper view or max lens was a no go for me.

GoPro has been making too many updates on HyperSmooth and they all look the same to me, so I'd say no.

Can we use hyper smooth 5.0 in GoPro Hero 11 without Premium+ ? And What is Hyper smooth pro?

They are giving people reason to switch to other companies 100 every year that’s too much

I think they shouldn't have changed the complete subscription like this for people who have already paid for it. Should have been a thing for new subs only.

Sorry but hyper smooth is not worth an additional $50. Especially when the cloud storage is going from full unlimited, whether it's GoPro footage or not to a limit of only 25gig of non GoPro footage.

Instead of innovate and push their RnD and explore new hardware and accessories possibility, they put more effort on how to charge consumer more on the device they already bought. This type of practice need to stop, we already pay full price for the camera, what more they want from us?

GoPro updated their subscription plans!? Now if you want "HyperSmooth Pro" (previously ReelSteady) you'll have to pay extra to unlock 😬 🔒 - Do you think it's worth it?
