Today's the day! We are so excited to welcome our new album, 'Bird in Paradise', into the world. It's chock full of danceable afro-cuban, brazilian and flamenco rhythms, all blended with the usual dose of high energy horns, fiery percussion and sing-along choruses.
The album is to 'Where the Angels Fall' what 'Two Shoes' was to the debut album. A more natural and instrumentally complex album with a specific stylistic world that we dug into in a really deep way. There are some classic Empire sounds, and also what we hope are some surprising new colours, all wrapped up in Felix's enigmatic songwriting style. We hope you love it!
