Here in Massachusetts, we've dropped our mask mandates, told the kids they don't need them at school anymore, and ignored the increase in positivity. I assume we'll ask everyone to put their masks back on right after Easter as the elderly begin to get sick again. We dropped mask mandates at 1000 cases per day on average this year instead of 40 cases per day on average like we did last year. Our Wastewater testing is up six-fold from the day we dropped are mandates or recommendations however you want to phrase it. It has only taken five weeks to see the beginnings of exponential growth oh, it used to take a little over 7 weeks with Delta and the previous strains. Omicron spreads faster. And on a last note we redefined what it means to die from covid-19. Removing 3770 deaths because they took too long to die. I guess it became ventilator withdrawal syndrome in the mind of our governor

I’m in North Texas. I‘ve been wearing a mask since this started. I left work at the hospital in April of last year. I DoorDash now. About three weeks ago all the masks came off in all the restaurants and elsewhere. Only places I see a mask anymore is when I take an order to the hospital. This starts rocking and rolling for Easter. Kids will be going back to unmasked classrooms after Easter. I got a bad feeling the unvaxxed are gonna bear the brunt of this.
