Hello, as I've mentioned before, I will be moving all my streaming content to Twitch moving forward. This will include my video editing streams, video review streams, gaming streams, etc. Please follow the channel here:

There's a couple of reasons for this:

First, and most importantly, I learned pretty quickly that I can't be as interactive with my audience with youtube live streaming. No emotes, means I cannot bring the emotes I made for my community to stream. No channel points, means I can't reward and interact directly with the audience to make for fun moments on stream. Nothing like twitch integration for games which allows me to be more interactive. And the moderation tools on youtube are just not great. The extent that I can be interactive is just talking to chat and the most people can do is message in chat, maybe I can add some stream bots but that's the best I can do. I know I can do more and I know I can do better for the people watching. I have so many big plans for these livestreams and I want to be as interactive as possible.

Second (this is going to be all youtube analytics stuff), I accept that the niche that this channel has carved out isn't for live-streaming, and that's ok. Over time, youtube will build out a certain niche for your channel and will give out recommendations with that niche in mind. With that being said, the niche for my channel is very clearly established with AMVs, and I feel that these livestreams confuse that. Plus, mixing all these recommendations to my livestreams from my other AMVs frankly take away from the content people want to see more on this channel. It's ok that people don't come to this channel for the livestreams, and I respect that. For everyone that turns on notifications for this channel, I always want them to click onto the notification and enjoy what I make. With the livestreams being so frequent, I wouldn't want these to be a nuisance to their notifications. So from now on I will make sure everyone gets the content that they are most interested in from me by separating out each of these interests into different platforms.

Third, I feel that for my channel, I haven't been able to reach many new people for these livestreams. At the end of the day, I just want to bring in people into this amazing community I've been able to build with everyone, old and new. Because of the niche my youtube channel has built however, these livestreams are just not reaching the correct people. Youtube is simply not recommending my livestreams to people that would watch livestreams on youtube, and that's just how it is with the algorithm. So instead I will move to a platform that focuses on live-streaming since the expectation is built from the beginning.

The downside is that I will be leaving behind the VODs if I move to Twitch, since Twitch only holds them for a week. So with that, please, answer this poll below, as it will have a major impact on what I do moving forward.

Thank you all so much for your love and support, it really means the world to me, every single one of you. I want to do my best for everyone and provide a safe and happy community that could just have fun. I really hope I can see and interact with you all on Twitch!
