My posting W2H2 on Youtube has a lot of people asking questions already answered by me posting W2H2 on Youtube, it seems. Yes, there's still a "part 2" that has yet-to-be-finished and uploaded, but the first half is up!
I made the mistake of dropping the video without any sort of... shorts, or other videos leading up to it, I guess? Which means it didn't show up in a lot of people's feeds. And now that the original hype from the people who've already seen it has died down, I'm getting a lot of comments like "WAIT HOLY CRAP, how did I miss this??? It's already OUT???"
So I've been trying to fix that by posting little snippets from the film as shorts, hoping it'll help it show up in people's feeds/algorithm, but the shorts are having the same issue. Lots of comments like "COOL WIP, can't wait to see it!" on scenes that are already in the film. Guess that's on me for raw-dogging the Youtube algorithm.
I think it's also compounded by the fact that not all of the film is colored/cleaned animation. So I think when people are seeing the shorts/snippets, they're going "oh okay cool, a WIP", and I'm sure that's confusing. That's also my bad, but I decided I can't keep making this film by myself for another 10 years, so I just put together what I had into something viable and set it free. I made a community post about this right before I uploaded it, but I guess I that wasn't enough? IDK, I'm bad at Youtube! I've always said this! I didn't know I had to make these little journal entries too, it's a video site! Haha.
Anyway, W2H2 (part 2) isn't out yet, but it won't be another 10 years! In the mean time GO WATCH W2H2 (part 1)!!!
