How a journal revealed to me the secret of happiness:

I was going through some old papers and books in my room. They’ve been in these boxes for years and I thought it was time for some spring cleaning.

So I took out the papers and the books and started organising them. Then I saw something…

It was a blue gratitude journal from about one or two years ago that I just never continued, and when I opened it, one of the first things that I saw was “Hit 139 subs today!!!”

And that made me realise that there was a time that something so simple could make me so happy, but now that I get more success, every single day it no longer feels like anything.

So keep a record somewhere of your wins. Journal it. Take photos. Keep an archive.

One day you’ll look back and not only realise how far you’ve come (cliché ahh quote) but also realise that you can still be happy about those same small wins even now. (less chiché part)

Like legit if i was happy for every 139 subs i got, I’d look like I’m high on drugs 24/7 365.

I simply got used to it and acclimated as everyone does.

What’s something you used to be super happy about but just got used to it? If there was a time that you could be super happy about it - now can also be that time. It’s literally all just a choice.

Tbh, i think that’s the key to infinite happiness.
