I have a weird "thank you" to offer you. My son is a mentally disabled adult, he lives with me & we take care of each other. He has the mind of a child of about 8-12 and is autistic. He had a rough relationship with his dad who ran off about 10 yrs ago & it was a rough time with him for a while. We hadn't heard from him in years. Last month we found out that his dad had died a year ago, and it was a struggle for my son with a lot of mixed feelings. He didn't want to sleep alone so he stayed in my room, and he couldn't bear the dark & silence for a week or so, so I offered to keep the TV on. He wanted to watch your youtube channel (we've watched your vids together for a couple of years now as we both like to cook together and one of our favorite movies is Julie & Julia, which is probably how you got recommended to us in the first place). He finds your voice friendly & comforting, so we would put on your playlist every night and this way if he was tossing & turning & woke up, you would be there smiling and joking and cooking... it helped keep him company, it kept him calm. So I just wanted to thank you for your show helping my son get through a rough time.

Hi hi! It’s been 2 weeks, where the hell am I?! Lemme explain: I’m in the middle of a big move (more on that later), I spent a week filming a bunch of new videos to cap off living in NYC. This week was the move. I’m currently writing this in-between a mountain of boxes. I’ll be back as soon as I get a handle on life.
