Another cool thing about that type of training is that it's easier on the joints. I've always been injury prone and my work requires a lot of physical effort too, so a lesser load on my body is always appreciated.

In the video, you asked Dr. Mike if there is any value to doing fly movements on top of or as a replacement to horizontal presses for chest development given the current research on the lengthened position... Based on anecdotal experience doing pec decks on top of my pressing volume I feel like dumbbell flyes, pec deck flyes, cable crossovers, ring flyes, etcetera could be beneficial for us longer arm benchers to accrue more chest volume given more of the load is shifted away from our chest to our long *ss triceps during horizontal presses (flyes of course deload the tricep) and I have heard Bald Omni-Man say something along the lines of them being "a cheat code" for us longer arm benchers in one of his videos
