I like long play through videos where the game and your experience are main narrative. If you are chatting or venting about a topic for a while (10-20 mins ) I’d rather it was it’s own short video. If you chatting and memeing with viewers then I’d prefer it was a supercut highlight. Thanks for putting out content for us to enjoy regardless how you decide to do it ❤️🙏

I like having both. Editted content is great for seeing the high points, but it’s nice to be able to go back and watch the full longplay.

I like both honestly. It just depends on my available time. Super cut shorter form are easier to watch during lunch for example. But I also like long form (I watch Kargoz, Critical Role...). It's just harder to find the time to do it.

I'm yelling like Ramsey, it's RAW! I enjoy the unedited bits, I wish more people kept that kinda stuff in.

I do like the long forms I can listen while playing games in the background

I picked "cutting out the boring bits/downtime" but for some games I would prefer uncut, raw footage. Applies mostly to horror games or games like dark souls (if you ever were to play them)

All of the above. Long unedited are really good as background noise while doing own thing. Short edited with important/funny/sadge bits are better for active watching.

I think something similar to rtgame's style. if it's like a creative game like minecraft or citysim stuff, you go for the most funny bits of it. For story like games, just go for the important bits. Honestly, a mix of funny + story should be ok even if it's long. But if it's a game that's going to be a series, it might be less popular because people don't always want to catch up. I think a supercut of the whole game into 1 long video (max 3-4 hours, maybe) will be good. but if it's specifically genshin and ff which are very long games I have no idea what's the best format for it.

Preferentially, I like long vids just cutting out the down time. It's nice to throw on while doing something else and feels almost like watching a movie since it's a bit longer and I get more invested.

Personally I like the getting to hang out and experience along with. Long videos with the more boring elements edited will help keep me watching.

I like having both the editted down to remove boring bits and having the raw footage. Sometimes I want to watch one or the other

I don't like it cut down so much - but thats cuz I like to have it on 2nd monitor for background noise. Though if it's just distractions from twitch chat, cut it lol

If the raw can update faster, then just raw. But if the schedule is the same, then cut the boring part.

Full disclosure, I only watch game play videos if it's a game I'm interested in. And mostly I like watching those for the story, not so much for raiding or big battles.

Depends. Long videos can be nice but only if it is just gameplay and story type stuff. Chats with twitch chat or streamer monologs aren't usually what I look for if I click on a long video. I would watch those sorts of things in its own video.

i like simple edits like the whole vod but only cutting out the parts where the streamer has gotten up or paused the game to do soemthing else. or like a just chatting section thats not specific to the game being played. other then that i want to see everything else.
