Their orientation is "why should we hire him? "Why should we pay him salary? And this much salary" "Can we get his/her work done in a cheaper way?" "Is his work important enough?" Only a stupid person would make him/herself easy to replace. They are continually asking employees one way or another "what value you bring?" " Why do you think you deserve a promotion? " Why do you think you deserve a raise? When your work knowledge is already shared with the junior intern who can do it for 1/4 the pay given to you?

Thank you for throwing stuff out there that many of us are going through. Your platform is essential and raw in the workplace and exposes c-suite who they really are.

This. My job expects me to know when they expect me to come in early or stay late with 0 communication. And then when I do stay late I get told to "work my schedule" even though I was staying late because they told me to. Corporate has 0 idea how to manage anything and need to seriously reevaluate their buisness practices

Industrial psychology and its consequences have been a disaster for the American worker.

Corporations run like the mob. The only difference, the mob pays you your worth and will reward you for good behavior. Bad behavior leads to death but so does corporate loyalty. Only, corporate loyalty is much more painful, stressful and slower.

this is very nearly the dumbest observation i've ever seen. it's like they just wanted a buzzword that sounded like quiet quitting. this isn't any more or less of a problem than it's always been. arguably it's not a real problem. in some contexts people with old information. in some contexts that's the smart thing to do. companies are hardly benevolent and you are employed to solve problems not to give others the secrets to solving problems. also, i question how much value those supposed solutions would actually bring to the table. just because someone thinks they have useful information and does not share it does not guarantee that info was actually useful.

We got another buzzword! Quiet Constraint - Not sharing everything you know about your job with your coworkers and managers at all times, even if they didn't ask you for help. Because you should have known they have a problem and come to them with the solution, and if you aren't you're stifling innovation at the company and hampering productivity! Don't give your playbook away to the other team for free. Make them continue to pay you for it, that's how you got the job anyway. Always maintain your value proposition. Check it out here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lq5Gf...
Can you believe it's barely been a day and there's already another new corporate buzzword? Not to reveal the name but -it has to do with promotions, except....it doesn't feel good for anyone.
Oh and shoutout to the brands brave enough to support my channel. So make sure you're quietly constraining on all that information in comfort with a Sihoo chair! Need reach over and grab a drink after you die in deadlock? Not with the Sihoo, the armrests twist and slide forward and backwards, no reason to ever leave the chair.
Tired of losing? Now you can get tilted in game, and in the chair at the same time! But seriously. Shoutout to Sihoo for the sponsor! Link for that is here! sihoooffice.com/DoroS100-JoshuaFluke
If you have anything you'd like me to showcase on the channel, you can email, discord - you've seen enough of my vids by now. Appreciate you.
