"I Feel More Like I Do Now" is the second video from our PREEPER RHAYE MACKAY presents Songs from Wood & Wire in the Blackberry Room.

This song was inspired by Bill’s dear friend Bea Dwyer, who often asked after serving a bowl of her delicious stew, “Do you feel more like you do now than you did when you came in?” The song was written in the ’70’s by Bill when he was on his own for the first time and uncertain about his future. Finally recorded, after five decades of this tune making the rounds at campfires and kitchens, Bill says it’s been fun to give it a little kick while the lines of the song still remind him of the struggles and joys he faced at that time.
