We’re launching the ability to stream across formats!
📹 Streaming across formats: - This new feature automatically crops your horizontal live streams into vertical layouts within YouTube Studio, while also providing a single, unified chat experience for your viewers. -The option to stream vertically is great for instances when the focus of your stream is centered in the frame (like just chatting, IRL, and facecam streams). - Try it out from YouTube Studio on desktop devices: Navigate to your Live Control Room > Stream Settings > Layout > Select “Dual stream.” After that, you can go Live from Studio and the vertical layout will be automatically generated from your horizontal stream. - Viewers in the Shorts feed on mobile will be shown vertical streams. Outside of the Shorts feed, your audience will see the horizontal layout.
