happy new year! another channel update: i promise i'm not dead <3 Last month I'd been chipping away at some translations for the new artbook, BancalaWalker. For now, you can find these translations on my twitter/tumblr/bsky. But I've paused my translations on the artbook for one reason only: to finish my next video!
this video is on a topic I've been wanting to cover for some years now, but it was too daunting. it's on a piece of lore that I'd call controversial... generally, it's not well understood or purposely ignored by much of the English speaking fanbase, but it's better understood on the Japanese side. any guesses?
I've been chipping away at it the past couple months, but have really Locked In this past week or so. The script, the hardest part, is almost done! Currently clocking in at over 12k words, it will be well over an hour of me digging up lore, explaining stuff, and connecting some dots, with a bit of speculation here and there. I'm aiming to have it out this month. i hope this will excuse this long dry spell between videos lol
