Navigating the artistic balance of “being good enough to move on” vs. total perfection.

👋🏼 Hey, for me it would be :How to craft a compelling marketing story, from start by distilling the core idea and identifying the problem you've solved. To the transformation this solution undertook into an emotional narrative. And how it can better resonates with the audienc

None of the below, I am fascinated with the use of a variety of different tools and how do you choose which one to jump into. Watching your earlier videos on designing your office space I am now designing my daughter’s first house. From inspiration to cad to painting her walls..

Money conundrums: what agreements do you have in place, how you manage risk, what responsibilities each party has, all those things. 🤗

Hey Mattew Personally I am curious about how you are able to come up with the designs of your products. I have been watching you for a long time now and you have inspired me to design my own products. Keep up the amazing work! 😄

Being able to collaborate efficiently and work well by self enough in your own part, also the balance in this working independently and being collaborative.

More on your philosophy of the final 20% a project needs to get to the finish line. I remember you saying in a previous video something like how you get very practical/detailed about the ending because a lot of the time it can be the most monotonous, creatively draining tasks. Love your videos!

Hey Matthew love these type of videos. I would love to see how you navigate the messy middle of project e.g. creative block, the idea isn't working, etc

Identifying the need.. Where do you find problems to solve or what people are looking for?

Well… One thing I am always curious to hear about, is the source of inspiration, or the “main idea” behind the product. Furthermore, I think it’s important to also talk about the difficulties of actually planning, designing and manufacturing the item, which by any means are more often than not hard to accomplis. I’d also like to ask you for a bit more B-Roll/ Cinematic of you designing. You work in everybody’s dream office, and even if I can’t only talk for myself, I really enjoy to see the office in different states (early morning, Nights, e.g.) because I think that the way we behave in our office or work environment, and the way it changes with us, is a huge part of the creative process. Love your content, keep it up!

I think the business aspect of cost would be an interesting part as well.

It’s a little more narrow, but I’d love to see the examples of trial and error with deciding how transparent the key caps should be. Also, how do you make sure you don’t spend too much time on personal niches within a project instead of focusing on the future customer?

I'd be interested in learning what brings you and collaborators together. And when something just turns from throwing ideas to actually making something. Love your stuff

How do you choose who to collaborate with? And what is your start to finish process of doing so? Maybe I’ve missed content you’ve already created covering this subject however always curious to see behind the scenes processes 🤙

Once an idea comes to you, how do you cross the gap of ideation to implementation? Knowing how to get momentum can be one of the biggest challenges

Curious most at the moment regarding the process of disagreements when collaborating on design elements and the various approaches that can be taken to come out of it with a solid end product while keeping the relationships intact.

I’m curious to learn how do you get out of the abstract zone. Idea > abstract zone > prototype—something like this would be great!

I need your input. I'm working on a new video covering aspects of my upcoming X-ray project, a new set of products I've designed in collaboration with others. What are you curious about when it comes to this subject of creativity, making products, collaborating, etc.?
