Never apologise for taking time to rest! Well done on your first convention- your outfits were amazing!!

I'm really grateful that you and your videos exist, and especially glad that you are also modeling how important it is to take care of yourself and rest when you need it. If you need to and can rest, please always do that!! Not everyone always can, so if you can that's really great. We are all just humans figuring things out, and making art. ❤️

I respect you, not just for your talents, but for your ability to listen to yourself and give yourself what you need.

You don’t owe us a thing or any type of apology. I think I feel similar to many of your fans and I am so refreshed and inspired when you show self-care, mindfulness of your needs, and make rest a priority. This is big-time role model stuff and these actions are more powerful than you know. Take care and have fun decorating the barn! Can’t wait to see what magic you create.

As an introvert who also needs time to recuperate, I totally understand! Take all the time you need. We’ll still be here! ❤️

Don't apologize for needing a break. Take care of yourself and when you're ready you can bring on the amazing autumn crafting. I can't wait to see what you do with your new barn space. I can wait though so you can get the rest and relaxation you need.

As someone who guests and helps run/judge/host the costume contest at a few cons, I completely understand! Enjoy your time off and rest up! I’ll be at Fan Expo Toronto in less than 2 weeks. Hoping to meet Cowbuttcrunchies as they qualified for the Masters of Cosplay finals!!!

I've only recently found your channel but it's absolutely amazing. You made me realise that when I keep buying more and more craft supplies and trying to learn multiple crafts...that's fine. Even if I don't get them all perfect. Crafting is fun and I want to try it all.

I think extra recoup time post major events should be standard across the board. Especially with spooky season starting up, extra rest is the smart play for sure.

That post con depression is definitely a thing! I’m so happy you had such a great time! I hope I get to meet you someday ☺️

Take all the time you need, dear Rachel! That sounds exhilarating but absolutely, shatteringly exhausting. I’m so glad it went so well though! I would have loved to have come see you too but I’m pretty much stuck to the house with autoimmune issues right now. Listen to your body and rest as much as you need to!! ❤️

The Gandalf video was great (and also like five others). Thanks for being there and holding an awesome panel so that I could finally find this channel

Take your break without worry Rachel!! ☺️ Cons are always an extreme experience- little sleep, lots of stress as you try to stick to a hectic schedule, long hours with really high/intense emotions, attempting to navigate a new and crowded place, always worrying about and touching up your cosplay (if you’re doing so), trying to fit every possible fun thing in to avoid fomo, and enough social interaction to make even the biggest extrovert say, “ok, I need a break.” And guesting adds a whole other set of things to worry about on top of that! I’d need at least 2 weeks to recover from all that, not to mention the con crunch beforehand 😅 So yeah, take aaaaall the break you need to recuperate!! ☺️❤️ The last thing we want is for you to burn yourself out or make yourself ill trying to get content out!! Take care! And may I suggest Dead End: Paranormal Park on Netflix or Howls Moving Castle (ahem on Korean Netflix ahem) as good pieces of destressor media? And, of course, Wine and Crime as a good funny true crime podcast (that I weirdly use to destress as well)? 😄 They’re all strangely calming pieces of media to me, they help me chill out and refocus

I remember how tired I would be after conventions, and that's just as an attendee. Take all the time you need, and I can't wait to see the barn!

I started watching your videos and getting into vintage and cosplay during the pandemic. To actually be able to go to my first con and meet you was amazing!

Take the time you need dear! I so wish I could have come to meet you! I have to say when I’m working on my own sewing projects, I love to put your videos on and just watch and listen! I’m glad you had a great time! 🤗 virtual hu

HELLO FRIENDS! I am back from my first guesting experience at a convention and MAN what a whirlwind. Thank you to everyone who came and saw me, who made me laugh and cry and gave great hugs 🥹
I was initially planning to upload this week but I'm now realizing I need a little bit more time to recuperate (I'm still pretty exhausted). SO I'm using this week to rest, clean and work on getting my barn situated and decorated!
I know it's technically a week too early for an off week but I hope you'll forgive me! Gearing up for lots of fun stuff planned for late summer/early autumn time though so hold tight 🥰
THANK YOU ALL I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH AHH.
