I’ve seen a lot of downfall timeline theories, but Four Swords Adventures also features many of the same elements that people are pointing out about the ALTTP map, as well as that would explain the Trident (which was destroyed in ALBW) and the Gerudo’s appearance (which is absent from the Downfall Timeline but present in FSA) But in an old NBC video it was suggested that the timeline be shifted to have the split at Minish Cap, with the “sealed Vatti” timeline comprising Four Swords, then Four Swords Adventures, and then Nintendo’s downfall timeline. If this change were made, I could definitely see Echoes of Wisdom being after Four Swords Adventures but before ALTTP’s imprisoning war. As the timeline stands now though, it simply can’t be between OOT and ALTTP, as there was no incarnation of Link in that timeframe.
