Love Al Jardine! What a great and very cool guy! I’m also a sucker for his vocals and his folk styled songs!! His songs are some of the best ones!! “Cotton Fields” and “Lady Lynda” especially!! Al definitely is one of my most favourite voices of the Beach Boys!

One fact about Al that I found out recently that I didn’t really care for was the fact that he has performed several times at Bohemian Grove.

Fullback ? Must have been the smallest hs football team ever. That being said, Al is one of the greatest harmony singers of rock. Usually singing the more difficult inner harmonies. Also like all of those Beach Boys. A very decent and kind human being. And a great dad and husband. So glad he is still around performing.

I’d love to hear a Beach Boys folk song.

The Beach Boys shouldve branched out into folk rock. Instead of trying too hard with trying to be orchesttral pop they couldve done some progressive folk rock

Love his song San Simeon, being a huge fan of the places he mentions in the song. I believe he lives in Big Sur these days and plays at Ragged Point on occasion
