“Just believe they are, no need for proof” brother that’s what you’d tell a toddler about Santa or the Easter Bunny. If a magical cure existed we’d never see the wealthy die, people would live indefinitely, and that magic cure would probably be available at nearly EVERY medical institution. I understand why some people would want to believe something so pleasant, but much like the Easter Bunny, you eventually have to get your head out of the clouds.

Okay, so there's roughly 3 types of people in this group apparently. 1. It's totally real because there's hidden messages in sci-fi shows/Jesus told me it was real/someone who's totally real and/or definitely not lying said it was real/can you prove that it's NOT real? 2. It's up to you to believe in it or not 3. You're an industry plant by Big Pharma here to trick us all First group is either being lied to, or are straight up in a different reality mentally. The 2nd category is pretty confusing to me, because you shouldn't use "belief" like that when it comes to factual medical decisions. It's like saying "it's up to you to believe whether or not there's a rabid dog outside, I can't make that choice for you," when this isn't a question about personal preference, and could literally be the difference between life and death. 3rd group is just defensive, which is stupid because the whole thing is stupid.
