I suggest trying mate- it still gives you energy buy without the high you would normally get from coffee

For the first time in two months I decided to allow myself some caffeine today in the form of a Pepsi soda "made with real cane sugar" and my anxiety and OCD has been THROUGH THE ROOF. I even had a brain zap earlier today that made everything worse and had me overthinking and anxious.

If I get all stressed out, anxious, and just want to scream, or even just shut down....I have to get a cup of coffee to calm down. It sooths everything. I become calm, can breathe, and focus. Most people drink caffeine to perk up, stay awake, get energy. It doesn't do that for me. I can drink coffee or Diet Coke and go right to sleep. If I have a day where I could use a boost, I'm out of luck. I am wired backwards. Unlike most people, I am a hardwired night owl, as were my mom and sister. I miss working nights. I have night blindness now. It's tough to deal with the fact that I will never work nights again. I'm just pretty much wired backwards to most all of the population.

Yes, green tea is such a different, more stable energy boost! It has theanine in it, which is wonderful for calming the nervous system! Matcha tea is great too but that one takes a bit of work to make it tasty!

Caffeine's one of those things that can help my depression in large enough doses but worsen my anxiety in too large of doses (I used to drink stuff like Bang to get me through my work shifts when I still worked and it made me feel terrible but gave me the ability to be cheerful and get stuff done)

Yeah but doesn't green tea have caffeine in it I can't even drink decaffeinated coffee it gives me side effects our allergies unlike everybody else man I'd like to have an energy drink every once in awhile on a nice cup of coffee but I can't have that I gave it up just like I have so many other things

Ive seen huge benefts in eliminating caffeine recently. I was only having 2-21 mg a day as Im very sensitive to it, but my mind feels so much clearer after getting rid of it, and my anxiety is greatly reduced. If you look into it caffeine has a lot of negatives, reduces bloodflow to brain, keeps you in fight or flight, dehydrates you (always running to the bathroom), it also stays in your system for a while so it will affect your sleep.

It is interesting how we can all react so differently to caffeine. It reminds me of how antidepressants can work for one person and not the next. A traditional cup or two of hot coffee relaxes my mind and body. Almost a zen feeling where all of the mental chatter just stops for a bit. I’ll get too sleepy though if I drink three or more cups. I get nauseous nearly every time I drink caffeinated tea, mostly black and green teas. I feel jittery after 1-2 cups if I can keep it down. I’ve had more success with white tea cooled and used as base (instead of milk) for protein shakes. Same with matcha powder mixed into a shake. I feel productive (without jitters) after having the Mio energy drops mixed with my water. I use this for during my work and creativity. I can feel the surge of energy and jitters with more than two energy drinks like Red Bull.

I get jittery with green tea but not coffee. It’s weird … I do limit my coffee intake though only two cups a day at most.

I like to drink coffee once or twice a week, i don't do it everyday because i know i might become dependant on it after, but having at least one pumper at the start of the week works great for me. Took me a while to get used to the low dosage tho.

I mean. Caffeine is literally listed in the ingredients of the drink. It's super expensive and is a supplement. I support creators getting sponsorship but seriously. Not good. Somebody could actually buy this shit

Dr. Scott Eilers
You've heard me talk about how caffeine can worsen symptoms of anxiety and depression. You know I'm a big believer in limiting (or removing) the things in your life that make managing your mental health more difficult - caffeine is one of them.
I also know having some kind of energy booster is very helpful. About a year ago I started using Magic Mind (@magicmindco) - for energy and focus without the anxiety spike.
Made with green tea, herbs and mushrooms, it delivers similar concentration benefits to caffeine without the jitters. This mental performance shot gives me the energy I need with only 55mg of organic caffeine (keeping me well under that 400mg daily threshold). Plus, it tastes incredible.
If you're struggling with energy, focus or the side effects of too much caffeine (jitters, crash, poor sleep), use the link below to get my deal.

SCOTT20 gets you up to 48% off your first subscription for the next 10 days.
This is a paid promotion; I love this product and use it daily.
