What happens when you finally bet on yourself? This year, I found out.
In 2025, I officially got out of my 18-year publishing deal, and it changed everything, from creative freedom to business direction and mental clarity. I moved differently this year because I could.
These are a few highlights I’m most proud of: • Featured in Billboard, The New York Times, and the Los Angeles Times with in-depth stories highlighting my journey
• Announced a collaborative publishing partnership with Sherrese Clarke and the teams at HarbourView Equity Partners and Warner Chappell Music, marking a major step forward in ownership and long-term vision
• Launched The next Hits Foundation, a nonprofit focused on educating and empowering the next generation of hitmakers whose families have been impacted by the prison system, including a Thanksgiving turkey giveback with the City of Fontana
• Released Goldfish, an album and film with my good friend The Alchemist, a project we worked on for nearly two years
• Served as a featured speaker at Fast Company Innovation Festival and Advertising Week in New York
• Created records with Big Sean & Anthony Edwards, Jay Electronica, JID & TiaCorine, and many others
Also, thank you to everyone who played a part in this year, seen and unseen.
This was one of the most critical years of my career, and I’m building toward an even bigger 2026 with some incredible partners.
