I absolutely adore your work. You really have given yourself a name in indie animation as a whole, and I hope you more credibility and fame. This show takes a lot from other but still remains separate enough that it stands on its own. (Btw fanfic me here, absolutely adore Kara, her entire design is so freaking cool.)👍

I'm ngl, YT needs to treat its animators better, but I don't think it's algorithm this time. I am constantly hearing others refer to Monkey Wrench and I always hear it recommended tbh. But I never hear anyone actually say anything ABOUT the show, and I think I get why now. I think people are afraid of being honest and critical. I waited on this show for a decade and was kinda disappointed when it finally came out. Idk what I expected, but the designs were a complete eyesore with the colors and just generic otherwise. and the pacing and story, none of it really hit for me and fell flat. it's visually overwhelming, but storytelling-wise, underwhelming. I'll watch a few more episodes and give it one more fair shake when they come out, but tbh I think it's obvious the meme animations and streamer-tribute animations will probably always outperform original content, regardless. Meme videos are easy to understand and shorter, people will always click on recognizable content before trying something new, and even beyond that, I feel like Monkey Wrench kinda dropped the ball on even capturing my interest as soon as I saw it in movement. I hope it picks up though. I'm still willing to give it another go.
