i forgot to say this when i found out, but recently I discovered that hours upon hours of rain world footage I had recorded has been completely erased. I have even run file recovery software (diskdrill) on my old harddrive where they wouldve been and… nothing. unless this is a diskdrill thing, that's memories of the game pre-watcher, that have been lost permanently. Among this is a recording of an entire Monk campaign. (luckily, this particular video still up on YouTube, but its just a reference point to how much data is gone) Obviously, this has really bummed me out. I recorded that footage for the future when I could make a compilation video, but now it’s all gone.
As for the next bug video, I did think I was going to make it recently. I have more than enough content to create a new compilation video, but I’ve been caught up with Rain World, my own mental health, thinking about AM, coding my personal website (angrydino42.github.io/) and having a mini hyperfixation over The Metamorphosis of Prime Intellect. I know that doesn’t sound like much, but ADHD will ruin your life and by the time I realise I should be working on my next video, I’ve already wasted the day, and at that point I have no energy. I also want to work on the next video properly. In case you haven’t noticed, I never thought the first video would get over one million views. I’d made it for myself and my family, so credit wasn’t my priority… Moving forward, I want to make sure I provide credit as the videos are on screen. Now that I’m realising the range my content gets, it’s only fair I step up my game and try to show credit where it’s due. This will also extend the variety of what slimy friends or creepy crawlies I add in these compilations quite a bit!
For those of you who have been around since I was posting animation content, it’s likely this kind of content won’t be continuing in the future, at least until I have enough time and energy to finish 3D modelling. 2D animation takes up a lot of time and motivation, which I don’t have, especially as my motivation to even draw a still image properly is so low right now.
