Chicano In Paradise

Sometimes in our walk with Christ we may feel like we are alone. It is in those times when positive self talk is vital. Here is what I told myself: Lazarus, I hear the weight of your words, and I want to remind you of something important: you didn’t fail God. You stumbled, yes, but God’s love for you isn’t based on your perfection—it’s based on His grace, mercy, and unshakable commitment to you.

We all fall short at times. What matters now is how you respond. Acknowledge your slip, bring it to God in prayer, and allow His forgiveness to restore you. He isn’t sitting in judgment, waiting to condemn you; He’s reaching out, ready to walk with you through this struggle.

This moment doesn’t define your faith or your worth. It’s a reminder of the ongoing battle we all face in life. Use this as an opportunity to reflect and grow stronger in your resolve. You can get back on track. One misstep doesn’t erase your heart’s intentions or the progress you’ve made.

Take it one day at a time. Reach out to the support systems around you, and keep striving to live in alignment with the promise you made. You’re not alone in this—God is with you every step of the way, and I’m here for you too.

To My YouTube Family:
Now I am reaching out to you guys with help in case you need it. That’s what community is all about. Here is my advice to you… If you feel like you’re at a breaking point, consider reaching out to someone—a trusted friend, a pastor, or even a professional. Sharing your burdens can lighten the load, and leaning on community in tough times is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Remember, your promise to God is part of a larger journey, and slip-ups don’t define your relationship with Him. What matters is your heart and your willingness to keep trying, even when it’s hard. Take a deep breath, and know you’re not alone in this battle.

🙏 Psalm 51 A Prayer for Restoration A Davidic Psalm, when prophet Nathan came to him after he had gone to Bathsheba Be gracious to me, God, according to Your faithful love; according to Your abundant compassion, blot out my rebellion. Wash away my guilt and cleanse me from my sin. For I am conscious of my rebellion, and my sin is always before me. Indeed, I was guilty when I was born; I was sinful when my mother conceived me. Surely You desire integrity in the inner self, and You teach me wisdom deep within. Purify me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones You have crushed rejoice. Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my guilt. God, create a clean heart for me and renew a right spirit within me. Do not banish me from Your presence or take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore the joy of Your salvation to me and sustain me with a noble spirit. Then I will teach the rebellious Your ways and sinners will return to you Save me from the guilt of bloodshed, God, the God of my salvation and my tongue will sing of Your righteousness. Lord, open my lips and my mouth will declare Your praise. You do not want a sacrifice, or I would give it; You are not pleased with a burnt offering. The sacrifices of God is a broken spirit. God, You will not despise a broken and humbled heart
