I think the way the channel is going is more than welcome, I love the old videos as much as I love the newer ones, I feel it is less "changing" and more "developing". The jokes are always on point and whoever disagrees is actually three anglerfishes in a trenchcoat. Keep it up, Roanoke, you're awesome mate!

the increase in humor just feels like a natural part of becoming more comfortable and experienced with the stuff you create, imo. i also appreciate the humor because it makes information be more digestible! i find it easier to follow along and take in the science you explain when it's broken up with jokes or other things that make it more understandable from the perspective of someone with just barebones biology knowledge. i tend to remember something more if there was a funny analogy or comment alongside it.

I found this channel a few months ago so I watch new stuff and 3/4 year old stuff back to back and I honestly cannot tell a difference aside from more defined formatting. You and I have the same sense of humor so that really sticks out to me. Hasn’t changed at all. Please continue exactly as is.

The jokes and the side tangents just make the video more enjoyable. I laugh with the brief stories, the complaints about Angler Fish, the measurement jokes and just some life stories added. Compared to other channels that just give a summary, you add a lot of life to the video which makes it watchable for anyone
