Teoh on Tech

I'll review OnePlus Pad 2 soon. Let me know the questions you want answered in the comments.

If you're using the tablet and has issues. Let me know. I'll want to test to see if the issue can be reproduced.

@Gormilein

Interesting - I found the pen was basically the same with the last gen. The tilt still has the same problem as before. It is just not consistent. But now also the pressure curve and palm rejection were worse (might be fixable by software). I think another thing you could touch on, something this one has in common with the previous one: touch doesn't work while the pen is active (either drawing or hovering). You have to completely lift the pen off the surface in order to move your canvas/zoom/etc. . A shortcoming that I think is not insignificant compared to the Apple Pencil. All in all I didn't think there was significant improvement in the pen and I sent it back. While not particularly bad, I was hoping for more - Especially for the higher starting price now. I would really hope they try to aggressively catch up to the capabilities and performance of the Apple Pencil instead of sitting on "good enough" tech and rehashing it for years to come and adding useless gimmicks on top (vibration motor that only works in the notes app? adding more and more pressure levels that nobody needs? c'mon).

I would like you to make some recommendations for a protective case. I bought the one that comes with the keyboard and the keyboard is very good but the case does not cover well, it moves and can be removed very easily.

@rakenumou

I would love if you covered how well layered out is the inegration of apps in double and triple window, and if the system has something similar to samsung dex. In particular, let us know if its something like the xiaomi thing, where is does not work natively but more like an app

@neerajbute2094

Does it support on the go drag and drop image from the splitscreen to the notes app like it does in Samsung? (Opening notes in one screen, chrome the other screen, let's say chrome has some image open. Drag that image with the pen and drop it in the notes app)
