My brain rejected this at first because it seems like you’re just setting yourself up to get taken advantage of…
But understand that:
Unconditional love doesn’t mean unconditional access. You can love fully and still hold boundaries. You can forgive without tolerating disrespect. You can be kind without becoming a punching bag.
True love flows from power, not the absence of it. And power isn’t domination… it’s discipline. The discipline to stay open and stand firm.
