In case you missed it: #SonicSpeedCafe will be making it's way to Chicago, Illinois on 20 Dec 2025. Customers will be able to enjoy a variety of #Sonic themed food offerings, Speed Cafe exclusive merch, and custom-themed decor, including a mural from Chicago artist Louis de Guzman for a local touch.
New additions to the menu include: - Knuckles' Smash Fries: French fries topped with smoky beef chili, cheddar cheese, diced onions, and pickled jalapeños. - Shadow’s Eclipse Affogato: Espresso with vanilla bean ice cream, topped with strawberry drizzle. - Scoop-de-Loop Ice Cream Sandwich: Blue vanilla ice cream in-between two chocolate chip cookies, rolled in “speed dust” cookie crumble.
It'll be located at 1422 North Milwaukee Avenue in the city's West Town community area. This will be the Speed Cafe's third location, after previous openings in San Diego and western Houston.
