To anyone wondering apparently the keys are given out by email on the 9th, I assume that it’ll randomly pick 1500 viewers each hour and the send them all out on the 9th, I guess that’s one way to artificially inflate week one owl’s watch time 🥱 So much for “stating 5/5 we’ll be dropping 1500 an hour

Blizzard didn’t explain the Beta codes well. Because they stated that you can receive beat codes starting on May 5th, everyone perceived that as “I can get my beta code and USE it for the beta build on the 5th.” It’s basically just a glorified raffle that you won’t know if you win until 4 days later, which then you might’ve just wasted multiple hours for no gain whatsoever.

FYI, only residents of the USA, Canada, the UK, France and South Korea can get into beta this way.

Glad they aren't slowing down on the OWL crap. Remember, if it leads to the downfall of your first game, then make sure to shove it down our throats for the sequel ASAP

Can’t believe I got the drop already. For anyone wondering I was able to download and play the Beta immediately, not sure if it’s supposed to be locked until the 9th or not but I can play. I received no notification, but checking the game version for Overwatch on the Battlenet launcher showed the option to play the Beta instead. That’s all I know
