An Icelander here. Found your episodes by chance and I have to admit that I’m always a bit curious to see what travelers see and think about Iceland. Those little a-frames houses along mountain roads are open to the public in case they need shelter due to crazy weather or closed roads (in winter time). I don’t know how much they are maintained but they are like rescue shelters. I like your attitude when it comes to traveling, so many tourist go to the same 20 places and miss the pleasure to be found in the unexpected things. Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip.

I think that A frame cottage is like something they call in Scotland a bothy. Rustic cabin shared by anyone hiking through in need of shelter for a night-ish. Rules are you leave it as it was found.

I wish you could show the grocery stores you bought food at and compare prices etc. Also what did you do about washing clothes and taking showers?

My son and I enjoy watching you, he has many problems and is stuck in a wheelchair and gets to travel through you so thank you. Also he has asked me for a Millie shirt for Christmas, I went on your shop and they are all gone. Will you be getting more Millie merchandise? He's a good boy and he needs Santa to bring him some Millie merchandise. 😊
