I think this is like how consumer reports says a car is unreliable because it has a hard to use infotainment screen. What I think is happening is people are struggling to understand how the call screening works. It is probably confusing at first. Also I noticed that you have to listen to what they said in order to make the unread icon disappear. So I don’t think it’s an actual issue making a call.

Network coverage and service on my Air has been at least twice as good as it was on my 14 Pro. C1X modem might be the best feature of this phone!

Nah, it’s been great. I can definitely see people having issues with iOS 26 though. The “Liquid Glass” is silly and just adds confusion for some users

I thinks it’s also just the new ios26 being SUPER BUGGY. I have a 14 Pro max & it runs fine on mine for the most part but I am seeing weird coloring animation glitches that I’ve heard of happening on the new iPhones. Dropped a few calls when it never has done that before the new iOS. So yeah

At this point Apple could force users to pay an exorbitant monthly amount for the privilege to use their Apple devices or get locked out of everything and get away with it. Probably get more popular.
