Question for you foreigner guys out there ...If you had to pick your top reason for coming to the Philippines, what would it be?

@tedrobertson1344

Reason #1 for me, but the prerequisite was #3. Otherwise I might have looked for my lady in other part of the World. You provide the "budget" she says thank you and tells you what it is spent on etc . . . But, with time it changes, they expect the cash flowing from you to them, and she feels entitled to more . No more thank you......, but they say i love you šŸ˜† and she is genuinely caring and loving, I reciprocate. Man, this is real happiness I have never experience

The reason is that the normal women left only in Philippine islands. Moreover its much more cheaper to buy a land and build a house(in 100 times) 1 million dollars for a normal house in USA ?- Are you kidding me? Thats the top Question to Canada and USA lovers.. Moreover, stop living in installments.. because when you lose work usually you move under the bridge. Rent a land in Philippines for 50 years, build a house and spend on all of this 50.000$. Other 100.000 Spend for eating and sleeping until the rest of your life. No need to work. No loans , no instalments , no stress. Retirement at 40 years. Your own housemaid for 150$ Say Goodbye to your miserable life in West. You are not slave anymore!

Definitely retire with a lower cost of living. At the same time, get away from the winter and snow.

In regards to the questions, I am pretty evenly split with my reasons for wanting to come to the Philippines

Lower cost of living for me. Compared to most places I could live in Canada we can live better here and at a fraction of the cost.

I can't fit my response into a single category. Yes, it's an inexpensive place to retire, but so is Tijuana, Mexico. The difference is that I can retire more affordably in an environment that offers the beauty of nature and adventure too.

What are the safest place and best places to start a tourist visit ? 63 year old retired man looking for retirement places. What is the medical situation there ? Is Medicare any good there ? Can a person a US citizen get medical insurance there ? Is it safe for Americans ? Anyway just thinking about it. Thanks Derek
