Could there be a Roman Engineers on the way ?
Hello all, recently a community member came across this when checking trademarks.
Still its common practice of companies to trademark names to prevent its use elsewhere so nothing may come of it.

If they cant even keep up Space engineers, i doubt that this will be better.

if anything, i believe if they introduce volumetric water for the roman aquaducts, theyll find a way to port it to SE. especially with the hollow pipes they put out with the industrial DLC, would make an interesting issue of plumbing up water. and if that comes out i guarantee the use of hosing for irrigation and farming to integrate their version of daily needs without making it a drag like the mod is currently. (especially if used with industry overhaul)

@bunker6762

It’ll go the way of medieval engineers.

@doritoschips990

So they can abandon it like medieval engineers?

@wesleybroadbent9290

Can’t get excited when there’s a chance it could just become abandonware

@thebaddestogre-3698

I'd only be excited if it has water+wind physics and ship building.

"medieval engineers" welcome back 😂

@ToddTalksTech

The lead pipes alone will kill it before the barbarians do 😂

@Akabeche

But like what would you do in a Roman engineers game ? There's only so many ways to build roads ballistas and camps

@Pro100tv9

I don't think this is a good idea. They should rather focus on moving SE to more efficient engine.

Would Roman engineers be their way of reviving medieval engineers

@DaveTheComrade

I was thinking about the possible difference between RE and ME, but RE should be more ancient, maybe with water physics, ships, mythical enemies/animals (not keen style but who knows) Waterways, pools, saunas, multi floor roman arhitecture, lead ore and copper, different ancient empires based armor&weapons, ballistas, greek fire, throwing spears, and so on. not the “davinci” tech we liked in ME, but different in a (maybe) good way 🤷🏼‍♂️ I would build a farm with some interesting waterpipe system for su

@Cifer77

Very strange given the current state of Medieval Engineers.

@skyfox585

Its literally just gonna be refined medieval engineers that they can use to sell more dlc

Keen has made three games so far in their entire history, and none of them were ever finished. Miner Wars and Medieval Engineers are basically abandonware now, and Space Engineers is languishing with tiny cosmetic packs and will likely never be finished.

@alertcriminal

Another piece of abandonware

@Captainbombastic8524

Medieval Engineers but revised

@matthewjohns2990

Reskin of medieval engineers?

@Ace-101

Probably a DLC for Mideval Engineer's? They need to focus on content for Space Engineer's imo, that game is amazing and has so much more potential.
