Our Beloved Messenger of Allah ﷺ also forgave Sayyida Hend bint Utbah (radiallahu ta’ala anha) the wife of Abu Sufyan (radiallahu ta’ala anhu) even though she was responsible for commanding Sayyiduna Wahshi (radiallahu ta’ala anhu) to kill the Prophet’s ﷺ beloved uncle Sayyiduna Hamza (radiallahu ta’ala anhu) and mutilating his body and chewing on his liver. The Prophet ﷺ was so merciful. At the conquest of Mecca, when the Prophet ﷺ was preaching to the Quraysh about the requirements of good moral behavior as a Muslim, Sayyida Hend (radiallahu ta’ala anha) was standing there and listening and answered back with major sass every single time the Prophet ﷺ said something and said some outrageous erroneous but the Prophet ﷺ did not become angry at her, remained calm and gentle as usual and simply smiled and even Sayyiduna Umar (radiallahu ta’ala anhu) was there and laughed and cracked up about how ridiculous with regards to what she said. The Prophet ﷺ asked if she was Sayyidah Hend (radiallahu ta’ala anha) and she replied yes. When she admitted who she was, the Prophet ﷺ who was merciful and forgiving and sent by Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) as a Mercy to All the Worlds then kindly replied, “Welcome, Oh Hind!” even though he knew very well what she had done to his uncle. She then became touched after the Prophet ﷺ happily forgave her and was so kind to her and then said, “Oh Messenger of Allah ﷺ, there was no family/household I wanted destroyed and disgraced more than yours, now I wish for no one to be more honored than them on this earth!”❤️💚 [Bukhari Sharif volume 1 page 539] Love, forgiveness, mercy and kindness heals! The Messenger of Allah ﷺ never took revenge over personal evil that was done to him and never became angry over personal evil that was done to him. Of course he was sad and heartbroken but he wasn’t angry as he never got angry for his own sake or for personal evil done to him (Sallallahu Alayhi wa Alihi wa Sahbihi Wasallam)!❤️
