Jackson Galaxy

Last week's video prompted a whole TON of questions - and I get it! I was sharing things in as real time as I could, and basically I was so surprised that my mind was being changed, I just wanted you to know about it. Overwhelmingly, the response was, "OK, but WHY do you like Litter-Robot?"

Message received, been going as fast as I could to answer all questions, and today at Noon PST, the new video should answer at least the big ones. That said, there will always be more, and when it comes to our cats, you know I'm good to talk about it all - so if you watch, comment!!

@GkSanchez

The thing I found odd was, since the video didnt really go into detail as to why this specific brand of automated litter boxes is so good compared to the rest. It just felt like product placement, an ad instead of a look at what the bad ones are doing wrong and what this one does right.

For me changing your mind is not the problem. It is wonderful that Jackson G. or anyone is willing to re-evaluate openly. My problem is that Jackson is a professional cat Trainer will a massive following. His word = money. As a Youtuber there are rules about product endorsement. You state in your original video Litter Robot IS the only automated litter product " I would use." Then in an update you state your still testing this "Litter Robot" make it make sense please. Again you state " Litter Robot is the only good one" and yet you have not finished a test on it or any competitors designs??? Why would I trust an unverified opinion?? The reason some are calling Jackson a "sell out" is that pesky little banner at the top of the video. The banner that linked viewers directly to Litter Robot purchasing page. I will watch todays video, hopefully it makes sense, and clarifies some of these issues.

One of my cats is obsessed with this machine (I have 4 cats but not enough space in my home for all 5 of the standard litterboxes I would need to ensure they have enough, and much of my family is also physically disabled). She watches it like a tv every time it rotates. She gets up and runs when she hears it. She uses the litter box, gets out, and sits down in front and waits for it to cycle. Honestly worth it for how entertaining it is for her

Guys give him a chance before you say he’s “selling out” He made it quite clear in his previous videos that he does NOT like automated litter boxes. Given his dedication to cats, i really dont think he’d give in just for the cash. Why is the world bent on accusing people- give him a chance to prove its an actual change before you start talking poorly of him😒

I have two litter robots because I have three cats and I travel for work. It’s worth it so they can have a clean living space too. You have to do what’s best for you and your cats. It’s okay to make adjustments so that everyone in the home can be happy and healthy

I am a stainless steel litter pan with grass seed litter. My cat is happy and healthy with this set up and not going to change. He is happy. That’s all I need to do right by him

People are also allowed to change their minds when given new information. There's definitely a time and a place for automatic litter boxes. Especially for those of us who are not home all the time or have mobility issues.

I can see litter robots being really good for elderly or disabled cat guardians.

Thank you for letting us know about your mind being changed as I just added a third cat to our household for the second time. I purchased the litter robot after I watched your video. I know how much work scooping for three years and figured well. If you’re behind it then I’m OK with it. It hasn’t arrived yet, but I’m looking forward to getting our family used to it. Gratitude always.

For someone like me with depression where I have 2-3 days tops where I don't clean the litterbox, if I could afford one I absolutely would have one. It's okay to change your mind! The fact that anyone can be open TO changing their mind and learning new things can be great and humbling! Everyone is their own person! 💜💜

As someone who uses pine pellet litter, I’ve never looked into the robots too much. I’m pretty sure every robot out there requires clumping littler. The pellets have their pros and cons but with daily scooping, they are very low odor and the best thing is the price. I pay about $7 for 40 lbs of litter. Can’t beat that. I’ll definitely give your video a watch though, because I’m curious what changed your mind. If it’s a sponsored post I think it’ll be tough to shake the “sell out” accusations, but I will go in with an open mind. Your tips have helped me a lot over the years and earned you plenty of good will in my book.

I have 5 cats and 5 automatic litter boxes - 2 out of 5 are litter robots. They’re expensive and noisy compared to the $300 litter box. I made sure all litter boxes rotated clockwise so there are no accidents/injuries. All 5 cats love their automatic litter boxes.

Jackson! 😄 I love all your videos, I've been binge watching because I just got 2 kittens from different homes and I've had one for a month longer than the other. It's my first time introducing kittens and the space I'm in is small and difficult to separate them for extended periods, so constant supervision is key. I'm leaning heavily on your advise to have the most success in acquainting them safely. It's going well 😊 so thank you for your amazing help

I hope you will talk about the difference between the LR and the dangerous knock offs. Lots of ignorant comments on your recent videos where people clearly are not doing their research on the machine. I have 4 cats, have used the LR since 2019. Amazing product.

My friend got an automatic litter machine. Her cats refused to even try it. The younger cat would explore around the opening but wouldn't go in it. My friend returned the machine.

Last time I heard of an automated litter box it was slicing cats in half. I didn’t watch your video so forgive me if that was mentioned, however I refuse to have automated litter boxes out of that risk. Those horrific situations have terrified me into hand scooping and cleaning.
