Hillforts. You made an entire video about the problem of providing a population in a hillfort with water. Just now an idea struck me: If those people used to herd sheep or cattle, they might have used those to transport water. It would be a slow but relatively easy process. Lead the herd out of the hillfort in the morning to graze in some meadow, preferably somewhere they could drink water. Also, have small containers at the ready, for example skin bladders connected in pairs. Fill those bladders with fresh water and just hang them over the backs of sufficiently tame sheep or cattle which you herd back into the hillfort in the evening.
