The ai mindcraft videos are truly amazing and entertaining to watch. As a scientist myself, I love to see these use cases of ai. Hence, background info and how things work under the hood have a big appeal to me as well. Science and technology can be sometimes very distant to everyday life, you are doing a huge favor for the science and tech community by creating such engaging videos. Just follow your own instincts and interests, you will find your audience nevertheless. Enjoy creating content and stay creative.

I am still interested in Mindcraft, but I think the building part isn't the most interesting part of it. I am more interested in seeing if AI could actually play Minecraft "as intended" in survival as its own agent that you could then encounter in the world.

Life engine, I once made life based on values trying to balance it out was fun and complicated and thought me a lot. I lost all those programs unfortunately. So this is what I'd love to see you do. 🙂

You should make like 100 AI's all play minecraft for 100 days. That'd be sick

Honestly I just say go with your gut, you know how you want your channel to be run and if you make content you truly enjoy making its going to be better anyway

imo, it's not quite right to separate this topics since most of them are closely related (I can imagine a minecraft video that covers ai art too (generating image of the build and then asking ai to repeat it), or life engine one that contains explanations about some NN-related concept and experiments with it), so I would love if you wouldn't just focus on the specific topic but rather choose an idea that mostly falls into it. But that's just my opinion.

I love neural networking and how it works, very interesting and it seems very comparable to mindcraft, so I like both equally.

I voted life engine because that's how i found your channel originally, but i understand if you are in mindcraft mode now, especially since that seems to be the majority vote. if you do want to continue mindcraft, look up NVIDIA's minecraft-playing Voyager program! it came out a year ago and uses an old version of GPT-4, but some of the techniques they used could be pretty cool for your stuff.

personally I'm waiting for you to create a chain of Minecraft bots that can hand out and execute orders, step-by-step to produce entire towns or cities in Minecraft

tbh I would love to see more of training a bot to actually learn to play minecraft with a custom neural network rather than gpt or any popular language model. language models won't bring you much further than what we've already seen. also please stay away from ai "art", it's not art and it looks uncanny, always creeps me out when I see it

Mindcraft and what it can do will be developed no matter what in due time even if it’s by someone else. But the Life Engine is your unique thing and really stands out as impressive. I can build myself and do everything something in mindcraft will do. But simulating a whole ecosystem is such a unique feeling you can’t get on your own. I’d say strongly as a hobbyist that Life Engine is superior

I want to see how it can help build in servers like that one where they build the earth

Ai art is a huge no from me. Ai can be used in fun ways and it is fun to see you experimenting with it in Minecraft as that is genuinely mind-blowing. However ai image generators are just theft of other peoples work that got unlawfully incorporated into the art model. Minecraft stuff is fine tho as there is no actual art stolen, it's text based and thus we actually explore AI's actual creativeness
