I'm a Zoho employee. There are huge updates planned to this month end or next month including E2E chats and possibly UPI.

For those who asking about end to end encryption for chats. Arattai is already using E2E for video calls and phone calls, and chats data are encrypted in transit. Devolopers are working on full E2EE for chats and will give update earliest. Wait for it. (Oct end or november)

Project Shivoham
I’ve long admired Sridhar Vembu. The first time I came to know about him was more than 15 years ago, back in my early days in IT, in the scorching heat of Hyderabad…. At a time when we were forced to wear ties to office, I came across his photo online — there he was, in a pancha/veshti. I was surprised and impressed: who is this man , a software engineer, breaking corporate stereotypes with such simplicity?
Today, it’s truly inspiring to see the grand evolution of Zoho. I’m beginning to adopt Zoho — one step at a time. Not abandoning my current ecosystem (Apple devices, American and Australian software), but also embracing what India is producing.
You can find me on Arattai, Zoho’s messenger app. Arattai (அரட்டை) in Tamil means “chat.” Soon, this beautiful classical Tamil word may well become a verb , globally.
Let’s support our own Indian creations while staying globally connected….
