I prefer the longer interviews. I do think there's potential for summary and highlighting certain things with more visual examples, but I think that would be more interesting if you have an overall point yourself that you're excited about synthesizing from multiple interviews.

I would be sad to see the podcast summary videos go, but I will say the more focused slide shows are more interesting to me. Whatever is best for you! Your happiness is all that matters my friend.

Maybe you can make a summary with your guest at the end of the podcast? Just to sum things up after people listened to everything.

I love how data driven your stuff is, you're going at it like a mini Valve.

Can you find an editor to revshare making summary videos? Would that be an interesting to you?

About to listen to it! I agree that the slide style videos are much better than the podcast summaries. I don't really care about those too much. Also, a while ago you asked your community if they wanted to see a video about why games matter (or why making games is important) and I just wanna say that I'd love to hear your thoughts on that. Most people think playing or making games is just silly, and I can't help but feel that way at times.

Good call on the podcast summaries, even though there are good, idk sometimes your voice feel a little bit off on them. Like it is missing that excitement you have on your own Slide-Style videos. Keep the good stuff coming, Jonas. Sending love from Buenos Aires Argentina. Anton ^^

Small Channel Update
1) New Video Podcast is Out!
I talked to Philomena Schwab, who both makes AND publishes indie games as the co-founder of Stray Fawn Studio. She for example lead development for The Wandering Village or you might have also heard of their game Dungeon Clawler. She has both the developer and publisher perspective on things, which I found to be quite an interesting mixture. We talked about marketing, publishing and of course making successful games. Check it out.
2) Next Slide-Style Video
The "What Sells on Steam: You Don't Need a Hook" video is still coming. I got a bit ill so will wait till my voice has recovered some more before I record that.
3) Podcast Summaries
As mentioned, I'm in a bit of an experimentation phase right now. After making 2 podcast summaries, I gotta say they feel a bit like busy work and they also don't seem to do amazingly well. I think we're better off if I just make my own Slide-Style videos about the stuff I personally want to talk about. I can still occasionally reference interesting takeaways from the podcasts there.
Cheers!
