SAR teams usually ether complete a mission or die in the process, there is a reason we don’t hear of them dying though.

We dont care who it is. We are search and rescue, our job is to find who we are looking for, to bring them back alive, to render whatever aid is needed. To preserve life and to protect the injured, according to our oath and our calling. We stop only when ordered to do so, and even then expect heated arguments as to why we can't keep looking We dont like coming back emptyhanded either.

Human, animal, or ET, it doesn't matter. We WILL get you out, even if it kills us. Nobody can beat a failed SAR team when it comes to Survivor's Guilt. And only a VERY few can match them. Soldiers, fellow victims, and the like, are just about the only demographics that can match SAR in that area. So you can bet your life we will go ALL THE WAY to find you... We certainly bet ours. 🫡
